A Matter of Trust

In the end of the story Darcy goes out for dinner with her father. She talks to him about school and her family and hoe things are going for her. At first she feel strange sitting there talking to her father about her things when she hadnt for so long. Later her and her father talk about her parents can get baclk together because dad is ready to come home and he can help mom with the money. Darcy tells her father that her mother is doing good and with the help he is already giving is fine. Also that she dosent know if mom would want him back home with them.

One day when Darcy is coming back from school her dad is home. He tells Darcy and her sister to get in the car there going for a ride so he can show them something. They pull up to beautiful house and go inside. The dad tells them this can be there new home and they can all live like a family again. They come back home and the father is talking to the mother convinsing her.

Do you think the mom will forgive him for leaving and wil except the new house and the dads support to live like a family again?

  1. I think that their mom will forgive their dad, but maybe things wont be the same. Or maybe she is seeing someone else because Darcy said that her mom looked all nice going to work one day and if she wasnt trying to look all nice for her dad then for who? I think that the dad might regret everything he did, but her mom shouldn't forgive him that easy. She should let him know what is going on and tell him the rules. She should definitely not wuit her job because he is not sure to stay for ever and if he does leave again she wouldnt have a job anymore if she quit.
